Why the world needs a hero
High above the clouds, where the cherry blossoms fall, stands the Moon Temple. Inside rests the Ancient Scroll, and every birthday it teaches young ninjas a brand new secret.
The Shadow Shogun wants every ninja to bow to the shadow. He sends a storm of shadow into the temple, carries the scroll off to his Shadow Fortress, puts out the Spirit Lanterns and freezes the Dragon Flame.
Pip calls the ninjas to assemble, and the call finds a hero at your party: the birthday child, who leads three crews of friends to win the scroll back.
Three crews, one Commander
In every mission the red, blue and gold crews each play their own game, matched to their age. Every code they win flies to the big screen, and the birthday child, the Commander, plays the deciding game.
Light the Spirit Lanterns
The Shogun put out the Spirit Lanterns on the mountain path. Each crew's code lights one, then the whole party shouts NINJA UNITE! and their light shows the way to his fortress.
Rekindle the Dragon Flame
The Dragon Flame in the temple burner is frozen. Each crew brings one spirit ember, then everyone shouts SPIRIT RISE!
Cut the Shadow Ropes
Shadow ropes tie the fortress gate. Each crew cuts one shadow knot, the Commander chooses the way in, and the whole party shouts NINJA STRIKE!
