Why the world needs a hero
Where the moon lights the waves sails the good ship Sea Star. On its deck glows the Golden Compass, and every birthday it points the way to a brand new treasure.
Captain Blackfog wants every treasure for himself. He fires a cannon of black fog across Treasure Bay, carries the compass off to his Fog Cave, puts out the beacon fires on the rocks and breaks the ship's wheel.
Pip calls for help, and it finds a hero at your party: the birthday child, who leads three crews of friends to win the compass back.
Three crews, one Commander
In every mission the red, blue and gold crews each play their own game, matched to their age. Every code they win flies to the big screen, and the birthday child, the Commander, plays the deciding game.
Light the Beacon Fires
Blackfog put out the beacon fires on the rocks. Each crew's code lights one, then the whole party shouts LIGHT THE WAY! and the fire cuts through the fog to his cave.
Mend the Ship's Wheel
The Sea Star's wheel is broken. Each crew fits one golden piece back, then everyone shouts FULL SAIL!
Open the Treasure Vault
Three fog locks hold the treasure vault. Each crew breaks one, the Commander chooses the way in, and the whole party shouts OPEN THE VAULT!
